For Men : Information
Supplied By
Volume Pills™
In order to fertilize an egg a large amount of
sperm is required, in fact many hundreds of millions. Some men
possibly due to genetics do not produce the kind of quantity or
quality that is needed and thus the possibility of pregnancy is
reduced. The quantity, quality, life and motility of the sperm that a
male produces is directly linked to the possibility of fertility. With
VolumePills you are therefore increasing the chances of fertility.
The unique blend of ingredients provide the nutrients males need to
create quality, thick sperm which also has good motility.
VolumePills offer an all natural male enhancement formula

Marijuana May Control Sperm Swim
Active part of drug may figure into infertility
By Neil Sherman - HealthScout Reporter
The chemical in marijuana that makes you high may also keep you from
being a father, researchers at the University of Buffalo reported.
THC - tetrahydrocannibinol - may affect the ability
of the sperm to fertilize an egg, says the study. Experiments
in test tubes on human sperm and eggs show that sperm respond to both
THC (the active substance in marijuana) and also to anandamide, a
cannabinoid-like molecule naturally produced by the body. The study
shows for the first time that anandamide directly regulates the
ability of sperm to swim up the birth canal, as well as their ability
to dissolve the coating surrounding the human egg.
"We set up experiments where we added a minimal number of sperm to
fertilize sea urchin eggs. What we found was the THC strongly
inhibited fertilization and was acting on the sperm and not on the
eggs," says Herbert Schuel, professor of anatomy and cell biology at
the University of Buffalo in New York. "And what we saw was that with
THC, it stimulated sperm swimming. It didn't inhibit it." Sea urchins
are a good model for human fertility, say the researchers.
For those who smoke pot, Schuel thinks there may be
serious implications. "For people who are heavy pot smokers,
the cannabis coming into their bodies could overwhelm the internal
signaling system," he warns. "This possibility may explain
observations made over the past 30 to 40 years that marijuana smoke
drastically reduces sperm production in males."
Previous experiments had revealed the existence of anandamide, and "we
found it [anandamide] did the same thing to inhibit sperm fertility as
did THC," Schuel explains.
Using a man-made form of anandamide called AM-356, Schuel and his
colleagues showed that both THC and AM-356 controlled how body
chemicals readied sperm for fertilization. |
